Dr Bola Sogade, a board certified obstetrician, minimally-invasive robotic gynecologic surgeon and also a family physician, established and operates the first and only physician-led, Georgia state licensed and nationally CABC accredited free-standing birthing center in the state of Georgia.

Antenatal risk stratification, delivery of low risk patients and provision of clinical care to women and families, including underserved patients in the Middle Georgia area have been our humble duty for over twenty two years, treating patients of various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds with dignity and good outcomes

Dr Sogade formed a network of providers who shared her passion for empowering women about their health including wraparound services like doula services, childbirth education classes, nutrition counseling, lactation counseling, and exercise counseling and the Cocoa Pods Podcast

Our innovative staff are committed to providing patient-centered care that puts women at ease, ultimately ensuring a positive birth experience. ObGyne Birthing Center for Natural Deliveries is a proud member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the American Association of Birth Centers and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists

Birth centers like our own, actively work to create an environment that supports minimal interventions during birth, and works collaboratively with the patient, her family, and her care team to support her birth plan. At ObGyne BC patients are given comfortable rooms where they can labor at their own pace, in the presence of friends, family members, and a doula, if the patient chooses.

In this environment, interventions are only conducted when medically necessary.
